Videos – PSOE won’t close border if UK Leaves EU

The PSOE party in Spain would not close the border in the event of the UK leaving the EU, would return Spain to the Trilateral Forum for dialogue, and would re-open the Instituto Cervantes in Gibraltar. The party is committed to maintaining these policies even if it has to negotiate its way into a coalition government following last December’s general election which resulted in a hung parliament.

These assurances were given by the PSOE MP for Cadiz, and spokesman for the Spanish Foreign Affairs Commission, Salvador de la Encina, who paid an official visit to Fabian Picardo at Number Six Convent Place today.
